A SPECIAL DELIVERY FROM FEDEX
Business logistics and overnight courier giant FedEx has awarded the Bayou District Foundation a $30,000 grant to support Columbia Parc's Business Center and Internet Café. The grant will equip these resident amenities with 19 computers, two printers, and a scanner. Plans for incorporating the donation into resident services will include such areas as job résumé writing workshops and other supportive job, career development, and training opportunities.
A Grand Opening for these amenity spaces will be held in June to thank FedEx representatives for their generous donation. |

NEW RTA BUS ROUTE
Hey Big Easy! We're happy to announce that getting around just got easier! Regional Transit Authority (RTA) offers convenient ways to get to and from our community, including a bus stop at our northwest corner - St. Bernard and Senate. RTA has improved service to the Bayou District area by adding more large buses and extending the route to Holy Cross, Gentilly, and UNO.
